Timberlink’s Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan
In the spirit of Reconciliation, Timberlink Australia acknowledges and pays respect to the Traditional Owners and Spiritual Custodians of the Country in which we live and do business. We pay our respect to the Elders past, present and emerging and through them all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples across Australia and recognise and acknowledge their continuing connection to lands, waters and communities.
Introduction
With guidance from Reconciliation Australia, Timberlink has commenced the next stage of our reconciliation journey by implementing the Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), formally endorsed for the period January 2026 to December 2027. This plan builds upon the solid foundations established in our Reflect RAP. As we move forward, our focus shifts from exploration and learning to the development and implementation of strategies that transform intent into measurable actions throughout our business and reach.
The Significance of the Innovate RAP for Timberlink
The Innovate RAP strengthens our efforts across three key pillars: Relationships, Respect, and Opportunities. It establishes practical, time-bound deliverables that integrate reconciliation into our daily operations. The plan aligns with Timberlink’s broader strategy, which includes responsible sourcing and certification, as well as caring for people through community engagement and inclusion. Actions within the RAP are tailored to our business and the regions in which we operate.
Artwork and Acknowledgement
Our Innovate RAP features artwork connected to our Bell Bay site, contributed through our reconciliation initiatives. This artwork is created by Reuben Oates, a proud Trawlwoolway man whose ancestry connects to Chief Mannalargenna through the Dolly Dalrymple line.
The artwork, titled Meeting Place – Together We Grow, is a powerful contemporary new art installation by Reuben, showcases the ancestral ties to the River Tamar and the enduring connections of Aboriginal culture in Tasmania’s North East Country, sharing a story of growth, connection, and cultural unity in our modern world.
The Timberlink RAP artwork visually narrates a story of growth, connection, and the profound relationship between people, land, and the future. It focuses on the theme of regeneration and the intricate connections among Country, family, and community.
We encourage you to take a moment to reflect on the stories shared through this powerful piece.
