Timberlink® Events Wrap-Up

The Timberlink® team has been very active in the events space lately, representing our organisation and products in various states across Australia. These events are a valuable way to interact with our customers and others in the industry.

These events are a valuable way to interact with our customers and others in the industry.

At the February IHG Expo in Adelaide, the team enjoyed a jam-packed couple of days discussing Timberlink’s product range with everyone who visited the stand. Sue Wood, Timberlink® National Key Account Manager, said ‘The IHG expo is always a really exciting atmosphere, and our team appreciate the opportunity to represent Timberlink every year.’

At the April Clennett’s Mitre 10 expo in Hobart, our Tassie team promoted Timberlink’s Made of Tasmania campaign. As the leading manufacturer of plantation pine timber in Tasmania, we are proud to support our local communities. On display was our
range of Everdeck wood composite decking which is manufactured at Timberlink’s Bell Bay facility. It is currently the only facility in Tasmania to manufacture these products. We even had a footy handball stand made out of Everdeck wood composite decking boards – check out the photo below to see all the colours on display!

Gareth Watson, Timberlink® State Sales Manager (TAS), said ‘I always really enjoy coming to the Clennett’s Expo. It was fantastic getting to interact with everyone and talk about our wide range of Tasmanian made timber products.’

NEBHub George Town Futures Expo

Timberlink® recently attended the Northern Employment and Business Hub (NEBHub) George Town Futures Expo, which consisted of over 50 exhibitors and over 600 people from the community and schools in attendance.

The day was extremely well supported by our Bell Bay team, demonstrating the outstanding opportunities we have on offer through multiple avenues – two hosted bus tours of the Timberlink facility, a VR Headset for people to get a simulation of a timber manufacturing site and a timber Jenga set for people to interact with!

This event showcased amazing opportunities available not just at Timberlink®, but also throughout the entire Bell Bay and George Town precincts.

Timberlink® is committed to promoting our Bell Bay site to the community and were excited to be given the chance to showcase at the event.

Agfest

Agfest in the Paddock is a yearly agricultural event organised by volunteer members of Rural Youth Tasmania. The event is held in Carrick, just outside of Launceston.

Timberlink® collaborated with others from Tasmania’s forestry and timber sector to share a site at the event, with the goal of engaging and educating visitors about the benefits of timber.

The event was a great opportunity to promote both Timberlink’s Made of Tasmania™ campaign, and Everdeck®, the only wood composite brand to be manufactured in Tasmania. It was also a fantastic chance to speak with young people who may be considering their future careers.
